Contemporary Medicine was established in November 1999. It was the first facility in the United States to offer Insulin Potentiation Therapy or IPT to people with cancer. Dr. Ayre is now retired, however our two physicians, Arthur A. Malik,DO and Thomas Hesselink,MD, carry on his work.
The comfort and ease of our patients is a priority and many patients have commented on the very home-like atmosphere. All of our private rooms have cd players, recliners, and additional seating for companions and family members.
